Tractor at Dawn

While on my Sunday drive, I came across this scene on one of the back roads around town. The corn field has been partially harvested and the tractor was left out there to start again the next day. What really struck me was the bright golden light of the whole scene. The sun had just cleared the hill in the background and was lighting up the corn stalks very well. I could hear the ducks and geese in the pond. I wandered around for a while trying to get an angle I liked. I think the top is my favorite, but I am also uploading a second version below that I like too. Which do you prefer?

(Where was this taken?)

Thanks for stopping by.

There is much to like about the bottom photo, the richness of the light in the top one tips the scales for me.

I agree. I like the light hitting the green hill behind the tractor in the bottom one, but you lose some of the crispness of the golden light in the corn. Thanks.
