The Strong Insurance Agency and Recreation Alleys were housed in what is now an empty building on Tompkins Street. The bowling lanes are still there and you could buy or rent them if you wanted to give the business a go. But from the looks of it there has not been an active business in the building for a number of years. Click here to see where this building is located.
Thanks for stopping by.

Your "My Town" series is a delight. I am enjoying immensely this opportunity for a virtual tour of a city that I will never see. I may even copy your idea. After all, imitation is the supreme form of flattery, right?
Thanks very much Anita. I think that would be a great idea to copy this idea. I am sure I copied it from someone else. I also liked sticking with a theme for a bit. Cheers!
I like the perspective you shoot your photos from, especially the "My Town" photos.
I've only been shooting in downtown Cortland once. A lady from the bank called the police! Thankfully, the guy who responded was an amateur photographer. He picked on me for shooting a Canon.
Thanks John. I have not had the police called on me yet. But I suspect it is only a matter of time.
