The Newberry Building houses the new closed Nordic Sports and next door is another boarded up building with Shangri La written on the outside. Cortland's downtown is active with a lot of shops but there are also a number of closed up buildings. Above the shops are a lot of student housing. Cortland has something like 51% of its housing in the city is rental, mainly because of the student population.

Oh my gosh how fall has landed here in CNY. I am loving it. The colors are just great. And so much earlier than what I am used to. Was back down in DC this week and everything is still green and the weather is warm. Cheers!
