Homer Fog Bank

Got out of the house this morning after a rainy Saturday. It was a glorious morning and is so often the case with these cold mornings in early fall, there was a lot of fog around in the valleys. I decided to explore a new part of the county and visit some falls that I had read about (pictures from there later this week) but first I knew I needed to try to catch the fog. So I drove up one of the hills overlooking town and saw this extremely white and luminous fog bank hanging over Homer (little town just north of Cortland). I decided to crop this down to a panorama since sky did not add very much.

Thanks for stopping by.

What a wonderful scene for a panorama. Great job.

I do have a confession, it is not a real panorama in the truest sense of the word. I cropped a shot without any interesting stuff in the upper and lower parts and got a panorama. Thanks none the less.
