From Our Window

One of the great features we love about the new house is that there are a number of leaded glass windows that provide a wonderful character to the house. This window in the front living room faces the west and so gets some great sun in the afternoon. The kids love counting all the rainbows the window makes on the floor, the walls and the ceiling. They track them through the afternoon as they move in unison with the Sun. Simple pleasures and quick science lessons.

Thanks for stopping by.

I like the image, but the story that goes with it makes it even sweeter.

Love the window. I made one for my Daughter to fill in where a wall mounted AC unit was removed and their kids do the same thing.

Thanks very much Greg. Leaded glass is just so interesting. I never knew living in houses of more recent construction in past.
