Greetings everyone. I am back with the photoblog today. Now that we are moved into our new life in Cortland, NY, I felt it was time for me to start this back up. I have really enjoyed sharing my pictures and wanted to being this again. Hopefully, you will forgive my long absence. With getting the old house ready to sell, packing, finding a new house, moving, etc. things have been crazy. But now we are well settled.
As part of getting settled, I have started to explore the area around the new homestead. Lots of cool new photographic possibilities have opened up. This image is from one of the short exploratory trips I took around town this week. I came across this house in the hills around Cortland. It is abandoned and slowly returning to the earth. I am actually going to post a few versions of this as I have playing around with different post processing techniques. This is an HDR (High Dynamic Range) image but there is no other processing applied beyond that to this one.
Thanks for stopping by.
