I know I take a lot of pictures of the Washington Monument. But I like it and it is so different each time that it does not seem to get old, at least to me. I really like the combination of soft fog near the water and clear skies above.

Beau, are you thinking about Paul Butzi's SoFoBoMo challenge? I have signed up and that may turn out to be a fantasy, at best, with all that's going on our lives. Still, it will be a terrific learning experience and, since you are already sticking to your challenge of a photo a day, you are in great shape to tackle this.
I like what the fog is doing in this shot and this view of the monument.

Ohh that is rather good - just enough detail in the trees and the water to anchor it to the ground.

Thanks very much Chris. It was an unusual fog bank that was only a few hundred feet high. Weird weather.
