Stone Light

This weekend I went to the Washington National Cathedral with my camera club. It was a great outing. The morning started off cold and very gray, but slowly the clouds came out and the sun started pouring into the Cathedral. This is a shot from the south side of the nave with the light coming in through the stained glass windows. I stayed until I had filled up every last shot on my digital cards. This was the first time I had shot there, and I am now sure I will be back very regularly. Where else can a medievalist like me find my Gothic fix this close by?

This is magical, Beau. Congratulations on a beautiful shot. Maybe you had better add more CF cards to your list for Santa. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
