Swan in the Sunrise

I found this 53/4 Packard rusting behind an old barn at an inn my wife and I stayed at outside of Charlottesville, VA. Got up at dawn and wandered around the property and found this cool old beat up car. I like how the sun was just catching the hood ornament. Thanks for stopping by.

Ohh that's a beauty - lovely light bringing out the pitting in the rust.

Good stuff.

Beau, that's gorgeous. I'm getting into photography myself now, and your photos and explanations are giving me inspiration for my own work. Keep it up!

I want to join the chorus. You are on a roll. This recent series of shots is quite lovely. What a wonderful job of bringing these textures to life. They have that marvelous effect of making me want to grab my camera and rush out to look at my world. Thanks.
