Backlit Sailboats

Not much to say on this one. As far as technique the main challenge was to keep the sun off my lens and not include people on my boat. The sail acted as a great big diffuser and gave me a lot of shade to work from. I'm not yet sure I like quite all that much water in front, but for now I am happy with it.

Hi Beau, I enjoyed your photos. Sailboats are pretty photogenic and the backlighting stuff is pretty cool.

I just got back from British Columbia and Alberta and have posted some of my shots on my "space". I had the space before I did the facebook thing. I can only keep up with so much of this "stuff".

Anyway, the address of the space is:

Check it out if you get a chance. I really enjoyed photographing Peyto Lake up there. It is an incredibly beautiful place!

Take care and keep on shooting those photos!
