This might be a bit cliched, but I still like it. For me the names of our honored dead with the reflection of the Washington Monument says a lot about where we have been and where we are going as a nation. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is a powerful place, especially early on a winter's morning without anyone else around.

Your comment at "Behind The Lens" was particularly interesting to me, since I also am new at photoblogging. I'm glad my I visited your site. This is my favorite of the images you have posted so far. Sometimes, it doesn't seem to matter if it's been done before.
Best of luck with your venture.
Thanks very much. One book I can recommend to you on this is Art and Fear by Bayles and Orland. Very interesting read. http://www.amazon.com/Art-Fear-David-Bayles/dp/0961454733
Best wishes on your own photoblog.
Beau
